Skippy

We stopped to talk to Skippy a few times while we were there. Most of the time, we couldn't get him to talk, but we videotaped him saying "Bye bye."

Patti LaBelle?

Every night, they had entertainment in the amphitheater for a couple of hours. One night they had a couples show (similar to the newlyweds shows), and on this particular night they were having a guest and staff talent show. Towards the end of the show, the announcer was thanking us for coming, then said that there was a surprise guest at the hotel. She said that Patti LaBelle was at Sandals, and wanted to sing at the show. Turns out that "Patti" was a guy, but he lipsynched really well!

Another wedding

This pier was used every day for a couple of weddings. For this particular wedding, there were about 25 chairs set up for guests. Most of the time, it was just the bride and groom and maybe two other people.
