Map and flag of the Czech Republic
In that part of the world, they refer to Prague as "Praha"
Our first stop in the Czech Republic was in this cool town called Telc
which is pronounced "Telch." The interesting thing about this
town is they
paint all the buildings. The painting technique is the source of
the word
"graffiti." Above is Lisa on the main street in Telc.

Lisa liked this pink building
This one was really cool as the paint design was really
intricate. You can't really tell from this photo.
We saw a few of these type of monuments. The towns put them up as
thanks for the plague not wiping them out.
Ok, so now we are in Prague. This famous bridge is called Charles
Bridge and it crosses the Vltava River. It has statues all along
it. You can see some of them in this photo.

cruise up and down the river. Behind me and to the right is a
lock that we traversed.
