We took a boat cruise like above through the many canals
in Amsterdam.
Downtown Amsterdam. Many of the places in Amsterdam
are called 'the dam' this and 'the dam' that (substitute the name of the place for this and that).
We drove out of Amsterdam a ways and checked out some
of the countryside. We got a tour through one of the many windmills in the area. We also stopped by a farm
and saw how they made their famous traditional cheese and wooden clogs. We stopped by a nice fishing village called Vollendam
(it rained on us in this village, so no photos).
This guy is showing us how you take a block of wood and turn it into a clog. I don't have a good picture of the cheese making.
Ok, so much for The Netherlands. Time for a new country.
