After our big European vacation last year that
we enjoyed so much, we caught the travel bug and decided to take another
trip. This year, we took a cruise to Alaska. We started off
with a couple days in the Vancouver, British Columbia area where we visited
family (click here to check it out). Then
we boarded the Dawn Princess at Canada Place. The ship was very nice.
This was Lisa's first cruise. I think she liked it. I
took a cruise a long time ago in college with my good friend Chad to the
Bahamas. Our cruise left Vancouver, went under the Lions Gate Bridge
and then we were on our way up the Inside Passage to Alaska. Our first
stop was Ketchikan, then Juneau, then Skagway, with our final stop in Seward.
From Seward, we transferred by bus to Anchorage where we stayed another
night on our own to check out the town. It was a wonderful vacation.

After we had some lunch, we explored the ship. We looked over
the side of the ship and watched them load our ship with supplies.
Duel with the cameras - obviously I am taping Lisa and therefore
she is the one photographing me
This is the Lion's Gate Bridge that goes to Stanley Park and we
went under it
Hmm, looks like I have two drinks in my hand. Where is Lisa?
Lisa all dressed up and looking lovely for formal night
I wasn't crazy about getting dressed up in work clothes for vacation,
but whatever...
Check out that fog!! We were in the fog for some time and
then we came right out of it. It was like a big long wall of fog.
