After our fun day at Shakaland, we drove to the Kingdom of Swaziland. It is a separate country, so we had to cross the border with our passports. During our drive, we saw a train that takes coal from the mountains down to the coast. The unique thing about this train is it coasts the whole way and requires almost no power. Once in Swaziland we stopped at a very long curio market. We then continued to our hotel in Piggs Peak. The town is called a gold town, but it is really a timber town. Believe it or not, the town founder Mr. Pigg later married Ms. Hog. We made a stop at a glass factory and then made our stop for the evening.
The funny event for this evening was in the casino. Lisa pushed a button on a slot machine, and it started playing African music, so Susan started dancing. Unbeknownst to her, the guards were watching and laughing. Once we noticed the guards noticing us, everyone got a big laugh!

We didn't spend much time in Swaziland. The landscape was very beautiful, but we mostly drove across Swaziland with a stop for the night before our big adventure at Kruger Park.
We return to South Africa
