Wendy and Aaron have birthdays on consecutive days. Back when that picture was taken, they were "just friends." Really. But now, they are engaged and will be married in September 2001. As long as I've been friends with both of them, I'm sure I'll be able to come up with some interesting stories to tell at their wedding! Like the one about New Year's Eve, when I first realized Wendy was interested in Aaron... (to be continued)

I'm sure Aaron has fond memories of this night... Allison was in town visiting me, and the four of us went out to dinner at this Japanese restaurant in McLean. Aaron ordered sushi, which looked pretty good. Unfortunately for him, he made the mistake of leaving the table before he finished eating. While he was away, Allison fixed up one of the pieces of sushi for him by coating the bottom of it with wasabi. When Aaron returned, he took a big bite of the spicy fish. I'm not sure if he's been brave enough to try sushi again since that night. I'll have to ask him...
