My sister planned a luncheon for me at Old Ebbitt Grill for Friday afternoon. I can't remember what everyone else had, but I had a Jamaican jerk chicken entree that was incredible! And I'd have to say it's the first time I've heard food described as being "infused" with something. I haven't yet figured out exactly what that means, but Amber and I are still laughing about it.

After we finished our lunch, I opened a few gifts, many of which were the traditional lingirie-type presents. The guys at a table near us found some of them pretty interesting. And so I was a little embarrassed! :-)

By the way, I don't think you want to ask what Brad was doing while we were at lunch!!! He probably still doesn't want to talk about it. Let's just say that he drove a lot of miles that morning. (Luckily, the rest of his weekend went a little better!)

I didn't get pictures of everyone who was at the luncheon, but it was me, my sister, my mom, friends from Nebraska (Becky, Amber, Fran, and Allison), friends from the D.C. area (Renee and Jennifer), Brad's sister Launa, and Brad's mom. After the luncheon, we all headed down the street to the rooftop bar at Hotel Washington.
