I met both Angie and Amber when I was working at Austin's Steaks and Saloon -- Fran, too. So something good came out of the hell that was my life when I worked there! Ha ha. Angie and her boyfriend Matt were the first people to visit me in Virginia after I moved. They were here for the coldest Memorial Day weekend I've experienced since I've been here, but were still out and about quite a bit. Some of the places I went to with them for the first time are still my favorite places here (like Arlington Cinema and Drafthouse and Capital City Brewing Company).

Angie, Amber and I used to have a great time in Omaha going out to Guitars and Cadillacs. We also really enjoyed going to see the Fishheads. There was the night at Howard Street, when I was busy talking to Keith.. and I looked up to see Angie and Amber on stage, singing along with the band. And then there was the night at Arthur's, when Allison was there, too. I think we all joined the band on stage at different times during the night. But we mostly just drank a lot and danced nonstop. Seems like a lifetime ago...
