Sightseeing

In March, Brad and I went to see the cherry blossoms in bloom around the Tidal Basin. We also went to the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial. The waterfall in the picture above is one of many waterfalls incorporated into the memorial. There are also many "statues," like the one below.

Great Falls National Park in Virginia has a great view of the Potomac River. The picture above is the view away from the falls, and the picture below shows them.

Brad and I went hiking at Shenandoah National Park, not too long after a couple of winter storms. In a lot of places, the trails were covered with trees and branches. Being rather tall, Brad didn't have much trouble climbing over them!
