Mom and Dad's April 2001 Visit

In April, my mom and dad were here to visit us and our family friends the Doyles. We went to the National Arboretum, where we saw a number of bonsais, including the one above. We also checked out the columns that used to be on the Capitol Building (below). I'm not sure how they ended up here...

On Sunday, we stopped to check out Great Falls on our way to brunch with the Doyles. The water level was pretty high.

After brunch, Dad and Kelly ordered a mile-high ice cream pie. They had a little bit of help with it from everyone else at the table. Someone joked about putting this picture on the internet, and here it is! :-)
