Washington National Cathedral is the sixth largest Gothic cathedral in the world. It was completed in 1990, after 80 years of construction. The cathedral was financed entirely through donations. The tomb of Woodrow Wilson, the only president buried in D.C., is inside the cathedral.

The Bishop's Garden includes a rose garden, a fountain, and many walking trails. There's also an open grassy spot where people you often see people reading or picnicing.

This statue of Abraham Lincoln is located inside the Cathedral. The floor near the statue is inlaid with Lincoln-head pennies, and there is a Civil War-themed stained glass window close by.
